Absolute Bookkeeping Services Limited specialises in cloud based services, primarily Xero Accounting software and a number of different accounting and payroll systems, along with other cloud base systems such as Workflow Max, Actionstep, Receipt Bank or Xtracta.
Other services provided also include Data entry, minute taking, proof reading and transcription or any administration tasks.
If you are interested in reaching out to us, our process is simple. Give us a call, we have a conversation about your requirements, if your currently running a cloud base system we request an invitation to your accounting system, we then login and access the transactional volume and prepare a quotation for monthly costs and send a no obligation quote via your email. If the quote is to your satisfaction we get underway straight away! Easy as! Should you not have an accounting system in place and want to get one up and running then that’s no problem either, we can get a new system setup in no time at all and send a no obligation quote.
Should you need one off help or administration work undertaken by one of my lovely staff our hourly rate is $75 per hour + GST. (price change as of 6 July 2023)

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
We can send out sales invoices and pay your bills for you, Receivable chasing we send out your monthly statements, can setup invoice reminders and handle enquiries directly with your clients via email ** PLEASE NOTE** We normally DO NOT offer a cold calling service to call your clients for overdue receivables, if this is something that is required it is subject to our availability and extra charges do apply and must be stipulated as an extra service upon signing.
Reconciliations
We provide affordable services to code and reconcile your bank transactions along with providing monthly bank reconciliation reports
Year End Accounting
We assist directly with your accountant to have all documentation ready for filing as well as offering a referral service to a professional chartered Accountant should you not already have one.
On Call
As your qualified bookkeeping partner, we are here to answer any accounts questions you may have.
Administration
We are trained administration whizz’s that can assist with dictation, typing of any kind, scheduling or co ordinating meetings, events, sending emails and faxes, managing documents and files, the list goes on. No job too small.

Company Director / Head Senior Bookkeeper
Kate has an extensive background in working sole Accounts Roles for the last 18 years. She specializes in all aspects of running accounts, office administration and management with great knowledge of Xero – Holding her certification in Xero and Xero Payroll. Kate also holds a Certificate in Business Bookkeeping, and is a member of NZBAI (New Zealand Bookkeepers Association Inc?) and NZQBA member – Who has nominated ABSL for the 2022 Bookkeeping Business of the year award!! HOW EXCITING
For over the last 7 years Kate has worked in the Family Law Sector working for a small practice in Auckland. I have found this to be an extremely rewarding area to work within and have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge in the Family Law sector as well as the Ministry of Justice billing system and Actionstep.
Whilst previously assisting her long standing Family law work Kate has decided it’s time for her to focus on building her bookkeeping business “Absolute Bookkeeping services” to which she has been slowly building her clientele base over the last few years, it’s now time to step out on her own and make it shine and prosper!
Since then ABSL has been smashing goals and targets each year and is only going from strength to strength.
I love doing what I do and can’t wait to see ABSL grow even more successfull.

Amy has had 13 year career within the insurance industry. During this time it has given her a diverse range of experience in personal lines insurance and centre management. Amy has a strong emphasis on written and verbal communication, leading and developing people & ensuring deadlines are met with low cost outcomes.
Throughout her previous role’s Amy has grown a strong ability to problem solve and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining customer satisfaction. She has developed sound skills in People / Centre management, Managing budgets, Working with KPI’s / bonus systems and maintaining rostering and Overtime for the centre.
All skills Amy would love to apply her knowledge too, to ensure we are working in the best way for your business and its needs.
Amy has joined the Absolute bookkeeping team with Certificate in Bookkeeping and a NZQA certificate in Business. She also is currently studying the human anatomy as personal interest – She’s a real go getter.
